I will lift up my eyes to the hills form where cometh my help

My help cometh from the Lord who made heaven and earth

Lord in your mercy hear our prayer.

For those who have to make decisions that affect all of us

Grant them wisdom and understanding, help them to do the right things

Lord in your mercy hear our prayer.

For the doctors, nurses, care workers and other staff who look after those affected by the virus

Grant them compassion and patience as they do their best

Lord in your mercy hear our prayer.

For those who are nearing their life’s journey end, grant them peace and rest

Bring comfort to their relatives and their friends

Lord in your mercy hear our prayer.

Merciful Father accept these prayers for the sake of your son, our Saviour Jesus Christ
